A new web-based packaging recovery note trading platform has been launched by scrap-ex, a secondary commodity market trading platform.
It will be aimed at "anyone obligated under the packaging waste obligations" and accredited export reprocessors.
Scrap-ex markets
director Gareth Goodall said: "This platform has been very successful
in other markets. We are confident that it will bring a new and
exciting trading dimension to PRNs. It’s proven in other markets but
what we really want to do now is get out there and find out what PRN
market participants want to see."
